There are different types of accounts; a NRI can open in India. Account may be maintained in Indian Rupees as well as in designated Foreign Currency. How to open an account in India?
- Download the account opening form from Bank of Baroda home website ( www.bankofbaroda.in/download-forms)
- Fill up the respective account opening form for the particular type of account, viz. FCNR, Rupee Savings Bank / Fixed / Current Accounts.
- Enclose one passport sized photograph (one for each in case of joint account holders) signed across or at the reverse.
- Enclose a photocopy of your valid passport duly attested.
- Duly attested signature on the account opening form.
- Enclose address proof document viz., latest Utility Bill
ATTESTATION may be obtained from any one of the following:
- An official authorized by the Indian Embassy or Consulate.
- Our branch or any of our overseas Branches.
- Your Banker.
